The idea
A room for people who refuse to outsource their future.
For people tired of big conferences and marketing speeches on repeat. A local room for sovereign people, and tools for a freer life.
High signal. Bring arguments, not business cards.
What you will hear
Six themes, one thread
Different subjects, same goal. Fewer things in your life that someone else can switch off.
- 01
Bitcoin and finances
Hard money, self-custody, and how to run your finances outside the traditional system.
- 02
AI
How AI changes the way we work, how to keep it private, and whether running it locally is realistic.
- 03
Freedom tech
Peer-to-peer tools, Nostr, mesh networks, and phones without Google, such as GrapheneOS.
- 04
Privacy and security
Staying private as more of life moves online. Opsec, and personal security.
- 05
Flag theory and plan B
Jurisdiction, residency and options that are more than slogans.
- 06
Political philosophy
The ideas that make the rest of it hang together.
Why Asunción
The scene already exists
Bitcoiners, expats, digital nomads, and sovereign individuals in general keep landing in Asunción. They have built a community around these topics. The local scene is strong, and things keep happening.
The scene exists. We give it a stage.

FAQ
Good to know
Something missing? Ask us.
What language are the talks in?
Mainly English. We may offer AI translation, but it is not guaranteed.
How do I pay?
On Satlantis, with Lightning, at the US dollar price. On-chain is not supported. Cards are coming soon. You can also pay cash at a Bitcoin Paraguay meetup, or by bank transfer, at the guaraní price.
What is included in my ticket?
Standard covers entry to the talks and workshops, as capacity allows. VIP adds the event T-shirt (VIP tickets bought by 15 Nov), the asado, free coffee or tea, front rows, priority entry and priority for workshops.
Is the asado included?
With VIP, yes. With a Standard ticket, add it ahead of time. At the door it costs more, and only while there is still room. It runs outdoors from 20:00 to 23:00.
Why does the price go up?
The first 50 Standard tickets are the early bird price. After that, the price is full, whatever the date.
Do residents of Paraguay get a lower price?
No. The price is the same for everyone. We set it as low as we could, and we do not charge locals and foreigners different amounts.
Can I join the workshops?
Yes, as capacity allows. Workshops are small, so VIP gets priority.
Where is it, and when should I arrive?
At UCOM (Universidad Comunera) in Asunción. Doors open at 13:30 and the program starts at 14:00.
I want to speak or support the event.
To propose a talk, write to sovereign-conference@proton.me with the topic in detail and a short bio. We read every proposal. To support the event, use the same address.
What is the refund policy?
No refunds. If we cancel the event or move the date, every ticket and asado add-on is refunded in full. Bitcoin payments are refunded in bitcoin. Send us a Lightning invoice. Cash and a bank transfer come back in guaraníes. A ticket has no name. You can give it away or sell it. The first person through the door with that ticket is the one who gets in.
